Learn to Skate

Ice ArenaThe United States Figure Skating (USFS) Basic Skills Program sponsors Mentor's program which offers lessons to all persons three years of age and up.

The Learn to Skate program works on a natural progression: children ages three to five must begin in the Tot Program; children ages six and up begin with the Basic Program. Adults of all ages are welcome to participate in a Basic Program for adults only; these classes are 45 minutes long and are held once a week for eight weeks.

New skaters begin with either Tot 1 or Basic 1. Skaters who have passed all eight levels of the Basic Program can continue working at the freestyle level. Classes are taught once a week for six weeks. Register for the Learn to Skate program online.
