Safety Town

Each year, the Junior Women's Club of Mentor sponsors a safety awareness program called Safety Town. Mentor Firefighters along with several assistants, teach young children, ages 4 through 6, how to stay safe at home and away from home.

Safety Town is held at St. Mary’s School, 8540 Mentor Avenue for three sessions during the summer months. Registration forms are available at Mentor Parks Department, Civic Arena, Mentor Public Libraries and from Kindergarten Roundup at all elementary schools. Register by mail through the end of April.
